Consultations
Wherever relevant we share our expertise, tactics, good practice and self-regulatory partnership approach with organisations, policy-makers, Hotlines, governments, law enforcement agencies and others around the world.
We work with UK government to influence initiatives developed to combat online abuse and this dialogue goes beyond the UK and Europe to promote greater awareness of global issues, trends and responsibilities. As part of this the IWF is often asked to respond to consultations with relevance to our work. Below are the IWF’s submissions to recent consultations:
- IWF response to the Home Office's consultation on Policing in the 21st Century: Reconnecting police and the people - September 2010
- IWF response to Ofcom’s consultation on Traffic Management and 'Net Neutrality' - September 2010
- apComms Inquiry on Internet Traffic - May 2009
- Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee inquiry into harmful content on the internet and in video games – July 2008
